Come as you are. Whether you're a new Christian, a lifelong church-goer, or just curious about Jesus, you're extremely welcome. We are a non-denominational church planted out of Providence church in Karns.
We meet in the Sanctuary at First Baptist Church in downtown Knoxville. Park in the garage at 950 Locust St SW and enter through the Welcome Center off of the L level of the garage.
Emmanuel is a non-denominational church, planted out of Providence church in Karns. We trust the Bible, rejoice in God's loving sovereignty, and want to keep Jesus front and center. The best way to find out more is to come and join us on a Sunday!
You can see our beliefs here.
Sunday services are at 4pm and last around 1 hour 15 minutes. Come from 3:45pm to join our pre-service sing-through. In the service, we sing, pray, hear a Bible reading and listen to an inspiring, challenging message. (The message is inspiring and challenging NOT because of the speaker but because of the Scripture!) After the service, we catch up over refreshments. On the third Sunday of each month, we have dinner together after the service.
Yes! Programming for birth through fifth grade is available on Sundays. We create a safe, caring, fun environment for kids of all ages and abilities to get to know and love their Creator. We also cater for kids who prefer to stay in the main service. We have a special heart for kids with special needs, and Joni & Friends is a great help to us in this area. See more about our kids ministry here.
Come as you are! From jeans and t-shirts to dresses and suit coats, you're welcome here!
