Greg grew up in Vinton, Virginia and trusted Christ for salvation as a young teenager. He attended Carson-Newman University where he played college football and studied chemistry. Here he met his future wife, Deena.
Following a career in medical sales, Greg was called to join the staff at Providence Church Knoxville to serve as Executive Pastor. He received his Masters in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary during this time. After 12 years he then served in some Christian nonprofits. He is now a Regional Director with 'Joni And Friends', which aims to make disciples of people living with disability.
Greg and Deena have three grown-up kids, Kelsey, Chandler, and Claire, and God recently blessed them with two grandchildren, Boone and Millie.
